Fall Fun 10/26/13

With Autumn in full bloom here in Colorado, there is lots of fun to be had. This weekend we took the kiddos to the Colorado Railroad Museum for some Trick or Treat Train fun. And they had a great time!

On the train ride!

Our little tiger checking out the train garden.

Operating the locomotive together.

Cooper Found the Great Pumpkin!

Tate wasn't smiling but his Mama is pretty happy!

Cooper managed to eat his way through the morning, devouring each piece of candy as he thanked the volunteer for it; Tate was happy simply clutching it in his chubby little hand. Which made me happy.

After lunch, we raked leaves in front of the house. The boys felt very useful and had a great time jumping in the huge pile of leaves we created. (I'll post those pics later; they are on the "big camera".

Happy Halloween, all!

Happy Birthday, America!

We spent another fun 4th of July in Breckenridge. We found a spot right on the street for up close and personal views of all the entertainment; also an ideal location for Cooper to stuff his pockets with all the candy that flew his way! I think he had 3 lolly pops before noon! Yikes!

Happy Mommy
Tate had a great time, too, hanging with his mom and dad and taking it all in. I think he liked hiking at the top of the mountain the best.
Hiking! Yes, I face planted into the rocks after this picture was taken.

Cooper having a blast on the pony ride!

The gondola ride, AKA "Roller Coaster" was a big hit, too! Nanci, Luke and Ashton met us up there and a good time was had by all. No fireworks for us again this year, but we have plenty of years ahead of us to stay up late and "ooohhh" and "aaah" at the sky!

I hope everyone had a great holiday!

Welcome to our Blog!

I'm following the lead of a good friend of mine and finally starting a family blog! Stay tuned for brief updates of all our adventures, starting with our July 4th celebration in Breckenridge, CO!
